About the 100 Onesies Campaign

100 Onesies Campaign - Onesies (and t-shirts) for Life

UPDATE: This campaign has ended. Thank you for your support!

I shared about the 100 Onesies Campaign in church today, and below is some of what I shared. -

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. -Genesis 1:27

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. -Psalm 139:13-16

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. -Psalm 23:4

59,492,337. That is the estimated number of abortions in the United States since Roe v. Wade in 1973. We truly are walking through the valley of the shadow of death. The abortion industry is built upon lies and as believers, we have a responsibility to speak truth into the darkness, but words without action are meaningless to someone in need. Something I have heard frequently from supporters of abortion is that those of us who are pro-life demand that women have their babies only to leave them high and dry without any kind of support once the baby is born, and sadly there is a certain degree of truth to that. How many of us are actively looking for ways to support young families who've bravely chosen life in the face of difficult circumstances?

That is the inspiration behind the 100 Onesies Campaign for Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services. The vision at SVPS is Partnering with God for a salvation-full and abortion-free region. They seek to prevent abortions but they don't stop there. Once life has been chosen, they offer counseling, parenting classes, and provide needed material items to young families. They DO NOT leave anyone high and dry to fend for themselves, and we can help.

Imago Dei means Image of God, and that is the centerpiece of my design that is featured on infant onesies, toddler tees, and youth-adult tees, which are available right now at www.booster.com/100onesiescampaign. I set a goal of selling 100 items and all of the proceeds from your purchase will be donated to SVPS. The more we sell, the lower the cost of the onesies and t-shirts, and the greater the profit for SVPS. There are four ways you can help support the 100 Onesies Campaign:

1. Pray - God is in charge of this campaign and I'm asking each one of you to cover it in prayer.

2. Buy a onesie or t-shirt. Shop the campaign here.

3. Make a donation - Booster gives the option of adding an extra donation to your purchase or, if you don't want to buy anything, they allow you to make a donation only.

4. And this is very important - I am asking for your help in spreading the word through social media. I only know so many people, but if all my friends share with their friends this could be bigger than anything I could do without you. I am sharing regularly on Facebook and I'm asking you to pass it along. You can find my Facebook business page here, where I am regularly sharing to promote the campaign.

John 8:12 says, Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Let's be a light in the darkness of abortion and support the families who choose life by supporting SVPS financially. Not only will your donation help to meet physical needs and spread the gospel, but your involvement in the 100 Onesies Campaign raises awareness in the community of SVPS and the services they provide. You can help send a message in this volatile political climate that we stand for life in both words and actions. And when you or your favorite little bundle of joy wears your Imago Dei shirt or onesie and someone asks what it means, you have the opportunity to share that we are ALL made in the image of God.

The 100 Onesie Campaign will end at midnight on November 13. Orders will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas giving and I've even designed a printable featuring gift tags, a scripture card, and a 5x7 mini print that coordinate with the Imago Dei design, which would be perfect for adding to your gifts, and can be downloaded here. You may have your order shipped directly to you, or if you are local you may choose free pickup (information at checkout).

As Christians, I believe this is an issue that is important to each one of us. As believers in Christ, we recognize the value of ALL human life, but often we just don't know how we can make a difference. Our efforts seem so small in the face of terrible cultural sin, and it becomes easier to do nothing when we are overwhelmed by such a great need. May I encourage you that God does not need grand gestures to use us. Buying a t-shirt or onesie may seem like a small thing, but God specializes in using small offerings for his glory. Your purchase will help support SVPS and when you wear the Imago Dei design, you are making a statement to a hostile world about what you believe.
